Cream Of Carrot Soup (variation 2)

5 medium size carrots, peeled and finely grated
3 cup water
1/2 tea spoon of each salt and sugar
1 medium size onion chopped
1/2 stick butter
4 table spoon all-purpose flour
11/4 cup milk 2%
12 oz sour cream (Breakstone recommended)
4-6 whole all-spices
6-8 whole black pepper
1 table spoon gourmet seasoning /soup mix (Vegeta recommended)
1/3 tea spoon Hungarian paprika
1 table spoon fresh parsley chopped
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Grated carrot if desired for topping

Saute onion in butter until golden Add grated carrots and sauté for 2-3 min. Add flour and sauté for another 2 min. Add water and milk. Stir and cook 5 min. Add sour cream, parsley and spices. Cook 15 min over low to moderate heat, stirring frequently. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Serve hot. Garnish with parsley, paprika and a grated carrots.
