3-4 pounds pork loin cubed into 2-3 inches
1 table spoon salt
1/3 table spoon ground black pepper
2-3 bay leaves
10 cloves fresh garlic chopped
1 large sweet onion quarter
2 medium size Bell yellow peppers
1 table spoon fresh parsley
1/3 table spoon Hungarian paprika
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup red semi-sweet wine (Kindzmarauli recommended)
10 oz Sweet onion& roasted garlic tomatoes sauce (Newman’s own recommended)
4 oz Barbecue sauce (Sweet baby Ray’s recommended)
1 table spoons sugar
Preparation time: 15 min
Baking time: 120 min
Grilled time: 20 min
Wash meat. Place meat in large glass dish. Add salt, spices, garlic, vine, olive oil, onion, bell pepper. Mix gently. Cover with plastic and place in refrigerator overnight.
Preheat oven. Divide pork among 6 skewers. Stick end of each skewer into bell pepper, onion, pork one after another in repeat order. Place skewers with shish-kebob on a rack and cook 45 min on each side. Then spread sauce on all sides of pork and bake 15 min turning each side Serve hot.
You can grill shish-kebob on high heat constantly turning skewers until fully cook. For best results spread sauce in the very end for two min.
