Sour Sweet Georgian Lamb Stew

4 pounds lamb chops
2 medium size onions (ring slice)
2 medium size carrots chopped
10 cloves garlic chopped
2 medium size tomato peeled and chopped
2 table spoon parsley
1/2 table spoon dill
1.5 table spoon salt
2 table spoon sugar
4 bay leaves
6 ground Allspice
10 ground black pepper
2/3 cup red vine (Kindzmarauli recommended)
1 cup tomato sauce (Newman’s own –tomato & roasted garlic recommended)
1/3 cup barbecue sauce (Sweet baby Ray’s recommended)
Olive oil

Preparation time: 20 min
Cooking time: 90 min

Wash meat and place into grease nonstick pan. Saute for 10 min on each side. Add water to cover meat. And cook on small heat for 30 min. Add salt, carrots, onion rings and spices and cook for another 25 min. Add vine, garlic, sugar, dill, parsley, tomato and barbecue sauce. Cook 20-25 min

Serve hot with rice or mash potato.
