Chicken Gizzards With Mushrooms And Veggies

4 pounds chicken gizzards
2 cups water
1 cup red wine
3 bay leaves
6-8 whole all-spices
8-10 whole black pepper
10 cloves garlic chopped
1 medium size sweet onion
3 medium size carrots chopped
2 medium size tomatoes peeled and sliced
1 leak
11/3 table spoon salt
4 table spoons Mayonnaise (Kraft recommended)
1 tea spoon old style whole grain Dijon mustard (Maille – recommended)
1 cup sauté mushrooms
4-5 sweet dry prunes

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 1 hour 40 min

Wash gizzards and place them into large pot filled with water. Bring to boil. Simmer for 15 min. Add salt, spices and simmer 25 min on light-medium heat. Add wine, onion, carrots, leak, tomatoes, garlic, prunes and continue cook for another 20 min and add mayonnaise, mustard. Add mushrooms in last 10 min. Serve hot with mash potato.
